Oxlade-Chamberlain ruled out of Euro 2016

England and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss the 2016 European Championships in France after his club revealed he has suffered a knee injury, again, which can keep him sidelined for up to two months.

The Arsenal winger has not played since injuring a knee in the Champions League defeat to Barcelona on February 23 having made 33 appearances, in total this season.

He was on his way back to fitness and was scheduled to feature for the Gunners' under-21 side earlier in the week but has now been hit by a second knee problem.

Wenger declared that there is no chance for Oxlade-Chamberlain to make it to the Euros

"I had a conversation with Alex and with our medical team and they told me he will back in July. He was out for a while and was not overloaded with games." said Wenger.

He played 24 games so far for England, scoring 5 goals.
