Manchester City 1 - 0 PSG, Champions League

The second leg of Champions League quarter final between Manchester City and PSG started a bit slow, both teams being cautious. At the end Manchester City won 1-0, and advanced to the semi-finals on 3-2 aggregate win.

PSG had the first big chance of the game, by Zlatan Ibrahimovic from a free kick, the ball was going under the crossbar, but Joe Hart saved it. Then Manchester City had some opportunities by Aguero, but he shot wide two times, and his night got even worse in the 30th minute, when he missed a penalty after Kevin Trapp's foul. The end of the first half didn't bring much more action and teams went in for half-time with 0-0.

Like in the first half PSG had the first opportunity, again by Ibrahimovic, sending a free kick towards the left post, but Joe Hart saved it again. Then the game was balanced, neither one of the teams risking too much. In the 66th minute PSG had a great chance again, after a corner kick Thiago Silva headed the ball towards the net but Joe Hart made an astonishing save. It took 76 minutes to open the scoresheet and it was de Bruyne who finally scored.

Match statistics:

In the weekend, PSG will play against Caen, already Ligue 1 champions, while Manchester City, who lies on 4th place, but behind by 15 points from surprise leader Leicester City, will face Chelsea, in a game that in previous seasons was for the Premier League title.
