Copa America Centenario Player Awards

Chile won the Copa America for the second time in a row, in a final against Argentina like last year.

Let's take a look at the individual performances and awards:

Golden Ball

Alexis Sanchez was named player of the tournament as Copa América Centenario champions, Chile, received the individual awards for the second consecutive season.

Sanchez received the Master Card golden Ball for his excellent performance throughout the tournament. He scored three goals and made one assist.

The Chilean attacker tallied two goals in Chile's 4-2 victory against Panama in Group Stage play as well as one goal and an assist in Chile’s 7-0 Quarterfinal victory against Mexico.

Golden Boot

With six goals, Chile’s Eduardo Vargas won the Powerade Golden Boot Award for the second straight tournament.

Vargas scored two goals in Chile’s 4-2 Group Stage victory against Panama and four more in their 7-0 Quarterfinal win against Mexico.

Golden Glove

Chilean goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo was awarded the Golden Glove for the second straight tournament.

Bravo conceded five goals during the Group Stage, but kept three clean sheets during the Knockout Round.

He made one save in the Final shootout to help guide Chile to its second consecutive win.
