Brazil made a perfect start to the game, Douglas Costa scoring inside a minute and Renato Augusto made it 2-0, all looked well for the home side in Recife. But Edinson Cavani pulled one back before half-time and Suarez scored a crucial goal in the second half to earn a point for Uruguay.
