The game

Austria started perfectly the game and David Alaba's shot from distance crashed against the right post.

After the first few minutes, the game became more balanced without many occasions on either side, Laszlo Kleinheisler and Alaba fired shots towards the goal but the keepers saved without much effort.

In the 38th minute, Austria had an opportunity and Zlatko Junuzovic sent a ball towards the goal from the edge of the box but the oldest goalkeeper of the Euros saved it magnificently.

In the 42th minute after a nice play from Marko Arnautovic he passed the ball into the feet of Martin Harnik but the latter was unable to keep his balance and his effort didn't find the target.

One minute later Hungary responded by Balazs Dzsudzsak who received a pass inside the penalty area but his shot sailed far wide of the left post.

In the second half Hungary had the first opportunity, only Robert Almer's remarkable save kept the score 0-0 when Balazs Dzsudzsak aimed his shot to the top left corner.

In the 63rd minute Adam Szalai received a killer pass, found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and coolly sent the ball into the back of the net. 1-0 for Hungary.

In the 71th minute Krisztian Nemeth sent a ball from the edge of the box and the keeper kept it out with a magnificent save.

Austria had a chance to level the game Marcel Sabitzer picked up a pass inside the box but his shot went well over the top.

In the 87th minute Zoltan Stieber made sure Hungary won the game when from close range brilliantly chiped the ball over Robert Almer. 0:2. Wonderful goal.
