Atletico managed a fine come-back after the first leg, and won 2-0 with Griezmann's goals. Qualifying to the semi finals with 3-2 on aggregate.

Atletico Madrid needed a simple 1-0, they had an opportunity in the 3rd minute, when Gabi's shot went over the crossbar. After that the two sides played more carefully, they waited for each other, but neither one of them wanted to risk too much too early on the game. And it took 36 minutes to open the scoreline, and it was Atletico who scored by Antoine Griezmann from Saul Niguez's cross. And Barcelona needed to change something.

In the beginning of the second half Atletico was defending and trying to surprise Barce by fast counter attacks. Barcelona pressed more and more, but Atletico was closer to score after a fast counter attack buy ter Stegen saved Griezmann's shot. Luis Suarez being the hero of the first leg when he scored two goals, missed two chances in just 3 minutes. And as the time passed, the two teams became more nervous. In the 88th minute Atletico received a penalty kick after a well played counter attack and Griezmann scored again, taking Atletico into the semi final.

The two teams battle also for the La Liga title, where Barcelona is ahead but, they have only 3 point ahead of Atletico and 4 point ahead of 3rd placed Real Madrid and neither of the them can afford losing points.
