|MIL||1 - 2||JUV|
AC Milan got only 2 points in the last five games, so they needed a win, and they tried, had the right attitude, but Buffon saved on numerous occasions when Balotelli's and then Antonelli's shots could have given Milan the lead. But Buffon couldn't do anything when Alex scored in the 18th minute with a powerful header from Balotelli's corner. And this was the shock Juventus needed, and after just nine minutes from the opener they were level again, Mandzukic scoring in the 27th minute from Morata's pass.
In the second half Buffon was needed again, when Carlos Bacca and Balotelli were close to put their side in front again. As an answer Paul Pogba's free-kick was just off the far post, but in the 65th minute Pogba didn't miss again, and put Juve in front after Marchisio's corner.
The two sides will meet again in the Coppa Italia final, which gives Milan a chance to save their season. And it will be a thrilling encounter to watch.
Juventus is out of the Champions League, after being kicked out by Bayern Munchen, while AC Milan didn't even participate this season in European Cups, as they finshed only 10th last season of Serie A.
For AC Milan, this season is not much better than the last one, they lie on 6th place, while Juventus is close winning another title.
